This itinerary combines the rare natural beauty and iconic landmarks of Rio de Janeiro, with the sparsely-populated and unique wildlife habitat of The Pantanal. As the world’s largest wetlands area, The Pantanal is often overshadowed by the Amazon Rainforest, yet it is actually considered to be the world’s densest flora and fauna ecosystem, with its wide open wetland spaces making it much easier to spot wildlife. Complimenting this immense wildlife haven is the inland aquatic playground of Bonito, with its unique cave systems and spectacular waterfalls, as well as crystal clear rivers teeming with tropical fish.
